ABOUT Sandi Walker, LMT License #4152

My journey into the healing arts of massage and bodywork began as a means to deal with my own pain issues stemming from an accident in my 20’s. I have become fascinated with the body’s ability to cope with trauma. But sometimes those coping mechanisms create problems of their own. With this in mind I sought to further my education into the more therapeutic aspects of the field. Dr. Tom Meyers’ Anatomy Trains and Fascial Release for Structural Balance series lay the foundation upon which my practice is built. Currently, I am studying Visceral Manipulation with The Barral Institute, founded by J.P. Barral OD.

It is my belief that pain is not necessarily an inevitable consequence of trauma or the aging process, but with realistic goals and expectations, is something that can and should be managed.
